Hi Everyone! This week I want to speak on the word "work", I know that's not the most popular word when you think about clocking in/out. However, if you are praying for certain things to change or happen in your life "work" plays an important part. I find we often times say we are going to do this or we wish we had that but are we actually doing the NECESSARY work to accomplish all that we are seeking out to do. I emphasize necessary because I am a huge advocate for working smarter not harder but that is a skill in itself. People think you have to be busy in order to be successful in accomplishing your goals that's a misconception you should be PRODUCTIVE, just because you have a full plate does not mean those things will move you closer to your goals. Remember my word for 2020 INTENTIONAL be very intentional with your time in this season especially if you are seeking God for something big in your life.
Don't give so much of your time to unnecessary things, yes life throws us curve balls here and there but stay focused and do the work don't wait for someone to give it to you. A lot of times we wait on God but He is usually waiting on us. Especially if He has already given you a word DO IT and pray about the details, with obedience come rewards as obedience is better than sacrifice. So, I encourage you all to do the work and keep going even when the process is hard because there is victory on the other side.
Let's also remember to do the inner work not every one has physical work to do but some of us need healing, clarity, direction, amongst many other things. Allow God to reveal things to you, the revelations may hurt at times but thank God for it anyway. Regardless, keep going the very things you may be praying for will not come unless the inner work is complete. There are people who want to be entrepreneurs and own companies but won't allow God to work on their character and integrity. Trust me I'm doing the inner work now and it has it's good and bad days but I know in the end it'll be worth it. God has revealed so much to me about myself and might I say it hurts but I know in my weakness He is made strong. So, we are 18 days into 2020 if you haven't already get to work!
